WOW - we have been so busy these last few weeks working on Spring projects in all grade levels!  Please keep checking our Gallery for samples of these projects to make an appearance!
4th Grade - Did you know you can draw pictures in Microsoft Excel?  4th graders had fun exploring this program while creating Spring pictures!  Also in 4th grade we talked about different browsers and even tried out Google Chrome while drawing pictures we see in clouds!
3rd Grade - In 3rd grade we also got creative in Excel with Spring pics, and then the whole 3rd grade earned a FREE day in computer lab by getting the most behavior points for the month of March!  Way to go 3rd Grade!!!
2nd Grade - Our 2nd graders worked so hard writing about their Spring Break in Microsoft Word, drawing a coordinating picture in Paint, then they inserted the pictures into their writing!  Cute!!!
1st Grade - We've seen Wordles before, but this time 1st graders made them out of words that remind them of Spring!  This past week we've been busy during 1st grade special class preparing for the music program.
Kindergarten - We learned all about the program Paint and then drew pictures that had to do with Spring!  Instead of typing we used our mouse to write the word Spring at the top!  It's harder than you think, but these little techies pulled it off!

We have a new tab at the top of this page titled Gallery!  The Gallery will be an ongoing showcase of student work!  For some projects I will display a whole grade level, others I will choose one class, and for some a few random students will be selected.

Each new post on the Gallery page is different.  Some will be slideshows and you will need to mouse over the picture to see a play button to click on.  Others you will be able to click on the pictures to enlarge each one.  We have a lot of creative students here at Willard South!  Enjoy!

Did you know you can spell a picture?  Kerpoof has an amazing feature that lets you do just that!  You get to pick your own background, then add anything to the picture that you can spell!  You can even make your picture move by spelling action words!  Click on the picture I "spelled" below and Spell some FUN on your own!
